Changes to Reclaim and Recovery Cylinder Services
The refrigeration & air conditioning industry has recently experienced unprecedented changes, both in the supply of refrigerants and the provision of recovery & reclaim services in relation to the F-Gas regulations.
For your benefit, we have invested heavily in a new cylinder tracking system called F Gas Manager. This is a cylinder tracking system for you to use, regardless of where you purchased the refrigerant. We feel we have an obligation to support the industry as a whole rather than putting obstacles in your way and restricting you to manage refrigerant usage.
In addition to this it is important to keep the constant movement of refrigerant, recovery and reclaim cylinders and to discourage ‘stock piling’ as this in turn can cause virgin refrigerant prices to rise. With this in mind we will implement the following changes to our reclaim and recovery service as of 1st May 2019.
- Rental charge (all reclaim and recovery cylinders) - £12.50 per month
- Free rental period - 3 months from date of delivery / collection
